Hi Paul, I believe Audio Blueprint 011 is Stakka and
K.Tee ?Auto Ignition and ?Terratorial?. In true Audio
Blueprint style these 2 tracks explore the deeper
side. This is single is expected out in late March.
Next on Audio Blueprint will be a 12" from label
owners Skynet and Stakka with 2 space age journey?s.
The first track is a rolling, deep and bubbly mission
entitled ?Logistics? and on the flip is a freaky funk
track entitled ?RF-Freq? with cool samples of hiss and
crackling vocal distortion from long wave radio
signals over a space age funk groove, ending in an
almost flash gordon style analog synth pad. Due in the
shops Late May 2000.
Underfire presents the next level of on-slaught with
the ?Blazin remix E.P.? Containing 3 tracks remixed
from the ?Blazin L.P.? alongside 1 bonus dancefloor
ripper from the Kraken entitled ?Spinal Chord?. The
tracks featured are ?Synthesis? remixed by the
original writers Stakka and K.tee, ?Luminous? remixed
also by the original writer Profound Noize and
?Nu-Level? which received a fierce re-edit from the
label owners Skynet and Stakka. The whole is E.P. is
on the tearing ultra dancefloor tip and will be in the
shops in March ?2000.
April sees the release of a 12" single by Skynet and
Stakka with 2 phat roller?s entitled ?Global Report?
and ?Night Lore?. Both tracks are very much what you
would expect from Underfire but with a slightly deeper
twist. Global report rollers it out a chunky
rubber-like bassline vibe over skippy beats whilst
Night Lore is on more of a bass overload vibe, but
still keeping it moving and dancefloor friendly. Both
tracks also touch on the retro rave stabs vibes of the
moment.
Also in April sees the release of the second edition
of Underfire's Mix CD?s entitled ?Dangerous Drums 2?.
The DJ?s featured in the mix are MAMPI SWIFT and
KRAKEN, presents on a double CD set selling in the
shops at a ridiculously cheap price, this is one for
the punter. Most of the tracks are as yet un-released
alongside a bunch of tracks from the Back catalog and
of course the Blazin remixes including the Side
Effects remix, which incidentally may be the only time
that it will be available on release.
ULTRA-VIOLET
The next installment on Ultra-Violet is a 12" from
Chromatix aka Akira on Renegade Recordings and aka
Arkane on Underfire with two classy jazz funk
workouts. The first is a track entitled ?Dirk Diggler?
is a jazz track with a raw analog bassline which still
maintains the funk groove and on the flip is a solid
remix of one of this earlier tracks ?Jive at Five?.
This will be in the shops in late March ?2000.
In April Ultra Violet release an highly entertaining
mix CD featuring some of the tracks from the back
catalog alongside 4 new and un-released groovers. On
the mix will be the DJ and Producer PESHAY, with a mix
that brings his own unique touch to the label making
this a solid package which works on a both home
listening and club level.
